This summer my sister and I had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to visit France with L’Occitane. We stayed in Provence, where the brand was founded, and we had an amazing few days touring the countryside, visiting the lavender fields (where the actual lavender used in their products in grown!) and learning about the brand and their sustainable farming methods. I had only recently learned about L’Occitane before our trip, but I quickly fell in love with the brand and their products, and L’Occitane become part of my daily skincare routine.
I had the chance to try out the Immortelle Divine Cream in Provence, and instantly noticed a difference in my skin. I have been using this creme every day since, and my skin has never felt smoother. The Immortelle essential oil used in the product comes from a yellow wildflower that is revered for it’s ability to heal and nourish the body and has actually been used for centuries!
After using the Immortelle cream for the last couple of months, I was so excited to learn that L’occitane launched their new Immortelle Overnight Reset Oil-In Serum. Also containing the Immortelle essential oil, the Immortelle Overnight Reset Oil-In Serum is a multi-tasking serum that helps revitalize your skin and smooth the appearance of fine lines (and who doesn’t want that!).
My nightly routine starts with a face cleanser that I use with my Clarisonic (I just started using this cleanser from L’Occitane and I love how gentle and light it is, yet it still throughly cleans my skin) and then I apply the Immortelle Overnight Reset Oil-In Serum and Immortelle Divine Cream. I also deal with adult acne so I always keep a bottle of tea tree oil stocked and I’ll apply it if necessary. Along with this routine, I try to drink lots of water (I’m terrible at drinking enough water throughout the day though!), avoid sugar (also terrible at that) and get at least 8 hours of sleep (great at doing that!lol).
