It’s been a while since I had my hair cut (scheduling a hair appointment always seems to be something I push off) so I thought I would try something new this time! I’ve always thought bangs looked so chic but wasn’t sure if I could pull it off, so I finally took the plunge (the good thing about hair is that it always grows back!). I also took off a few inches so I felt like I had an in-between length, and had it styled in an A-line bob. I think I’ve been cutting my hair as an A-line (shorter in the back and longer in the front) since I find it to be a universally complimentary cut. It’s also nice because you get a little extra volume in the back! My absolute must-have product for styling my short (and fine) hair is texturing spray. I’ve found this one to give me the most texture and at $6.99, it’s a total steal!
We’ve still been having pretty warm weather in California, but this evening finally felt a little bit like fall. I’ve been busy planning a bunch of fall trips and I’m so excited! There is a ton of research that goes into planning trips and timing the fall foliage is especially difficult!
Turtlenecks and over the knee boots will be on repeat and I love this turtleneck from Banana Republic. It’s not too thick so it makes for a great transitional piece and it comes in multiple colors. And since it’s thinner it makes for the perfect layering piece. I’ve linked to some of my other turtlenecks I love/ordered for my trips at the end of the post!
