I can’t believe it is already November! The last few weeks have been a whirlwind of traveling (Paris, Vermont and now Portland!) so I haven’t had time to sit down and edit blog posts, but I have so many saved up from my trips! I’m still learning my process for selecting and editing my photos for my blog, so it can take me a while depending on the lighting of the photos. I’m used to editing on my phone with VSCO for Instagram but to keep the quality of the photos for my blog I try to only use Lightroom but I’m still not very familiar with it!

One of my favorite views of the Eiffel Tower is at Trocadero, and because of the beautiful unobstructed views of the tower, it’s also the favorite of hundreds of others lol. The trick to shooting at any popular tourist spots is to be the first one there. My sister and I didn’t end up arriving until around 10 AM (the sun didn’t rise until about 8:30AM) so we were still able to catch the morning glow and avoid too many crowds. The lighting was so beautiful and even though it slightly washed out the Eiffel Tower, I think it made it a little more dreamy.

If you’ve noticed from a few of my last few outfits, I love styling a turtleneck with a skirt and some boots. It kind of dresses up the turtleneck and they balance each other out. I’ve stocked up on so many camel turtlenecks/sweaters it’s sort of a problem haha. Pairing neutrals creates such a classic look and it makes it so much easier to mix and match your wardrobe when you are picking out an outfit.

This turtleneck is part of the Banana Republic Friends and Family event going on right now (today is the last day!) and you can get 40% off your entire purchase or 50% if you are a cardholder! This turtleneck is still available and I also have it in the heather light gray (seen in this blog post) and it comes in 6 other colors as well. I’ve linked to some of my other favorite selects from BR below!
