It’s that time of year again! Shopbop is having their Event of the Season sale and it’s the perfect time to stock up on some designer pieces that rarely go on sale. Use the code STOCKUP19 to get up to 25% off your order.
Top pick: Stuart Weitzman Over The Knee Boots
My top pick from the sale is definitely the Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots. They are expensive (on sale:$598, reg: $798) but the fit and quality is amazing and definitely worth the investment. [For a more affordable option, these over the knee boots from Goodnight Macaroon fit equally amazing if you have slim calves (I also own these in all three colors) and right now they are 40% off with the code PREFALL.]
I love the Tieland over the knee boots because they have a low heel that is just enough to lengthen the leg a bit, but comfortable enough to walk around in them. I also own the Stuart Weitzman Lowland over the knee boots and I probably find myself wearing these on a more every day basis since they have no heel. If you find yourself looking for a more casual style, or if you will be walking long distances in them, I would recommend the Lowland boots. Since they rarely go on sale, you can also order both styles so you can try them on and decide! (Shopbop has free returns if you return within 14 days).
I’ve picked up most of my recent denim from Shopbop and a pair of Levi’s and AGOLDE. My Levi’s have been on constant rotation, and they really do get softer and have that lived-in feel with more wear.
Neutral pieces make it easy to style outfits together and I love off the styles for fall! There are also lots of great options from Reformation, one of my favorite sustainable brands.
As I’ve been focusing more on sustainable fashion, I’ve realized there many different forms of sustainability so I’ve been focusing on slow fashion. Buying classic pieces and investing in higher-quality essentials that will last for years to come.
Some of my favorite –and most worn– shoes from this past year are all Sam Edelman. I have a pair of Sam Edelman sandals I’ve worn since last summer and I have two pairs of their boots I recently wore on my trips to Banff and NY and all the shoes are are so comfortable!
Tory Burch has classic, high quality bags and I have a couple of their larger totes I’ve been using for traveling and for my laptop bag.
This Brixton hat was on constant repeat during my trip to Canada and it makes for the perfect fall accessory that goes with almost any outfit. I also just bought this Marc Jacobs card holder since my current one is falling apart. I love having a slim card holder for my i.d and cards since it makes it easy to switch between bags or carry in my pocked when I don’t have a purse.
