If you’ve been following along for the past few weeks, you may have seen that I decided to focus on building around a capsule wardrobe this year which means I’ll be sharing/styling classic and versatile pieces while transitioning in pieces for each season.
Denim is one of the essentials in my capsule wardrobe [everyone has different capsule collections based on their style!] and I’ve been transitioning to a winter collection by adding darker washes.

I recently bought my first Levi’s jeans in YEARS they have quickly become one of my favorite denim brands. Not only are their jeans made to last, the fit is amazing and they are extremely comfortable! They have also made great sustainable changes and commitments and because of that, they are one of my go-to sustainable brands.
I was in need of a dark wash jean jacket for winter and was so happy to find Levi’s at JCPenney! They have a great selection of Levi’s to choose from and I was able to snag this jean jacket [on sale!]. They also have these 721 high-rise skinny jeans which are AMAZING. I typically have a hard time finding jeans that fit me [I’m 5’4”] but these jeans hit the perfect length at my ankle.

I had also been wanting to get some combat boots for winter but I’ve held off for the past couple of months. When I saw these Arizona combat boots for under $50 I decided to take the plunge. They are so comfortable and I love how chic they look and I can walk around in them all day. They were so popular they’ve unfortunately almost completely sold out, but you might possibly find them in store or see if they restock them. You might also want to check out these Unisa combat boots which are fully stocked and under $50 as well.
They also have Sephora inside JCPenney and they carry some of my favorite clean [non-toxic and cruelty-free] skincare products from Ole Henricksen [they also have a ‘Clean at Sephora‘ section to make it easy to browse/shop]. My sister first introduced me to this brand years ago, and their products have become part of my nightly routine ever since.
I highly recommend the Invigorating Night Transformation Gel, or you can try it out in the 3 Little Wonders Mini Starter kit which is only $25 and a great way to test out three of their top recommended products. I buy the full set for my night routine and the Balance It-All Essentials set for my day routine. These products have made a significant improvement in my skin, helping reduce both my acne and acne scars. I highly recommend checking them out!

Great look and pics. 🙂
