My sister and I recently went to an event in San Francisco, so we decided to do a staycation in the city and spend a few days exploring [we live about an hour south of SF and don’t visit as much as we’d like].
I packed super last minute [as always] and threw together a bunch of Everlane pieces I recently ordered for my try-on haul/review. The great thing about having the capsule wardrobe foundation, is that it is so easy to mix-and-match outfits without having to plan ahead!
I thought this Everlane camel coat would be perfect for layering in the city (it surprises most people that it’s often chilly and windy in SF)–and it was! When I first reviewed this coat, I was a little hesitant about the wider shape of the coat, but I actually really love it now! This coat is such great quality, it’s very warm and it easily layers with any outfit.
I also was a little unsure about these Everlane skinny jeans when I first reviewed them, but they have really grown on me. They are very soft and I do love how fitted and slimming they are [since my other non-stretch cotton jeans have a looser fit]. And as I mentioned before, they are sustainably made and only $68…so you really can’t beat these jeans [I also really love the bone color!].
I’ve received a lot of questions about my backpack and sneakers, and unfortunately my backpack is from last year and sold out but this is a similar one I found! It is so useful having a backpack and I bring it with me on almost all my trips.
These Frye sneakers are my absolute favorite, and you’ve probably seen me wear them quite often on my Instagram. They are a little pricier at almost $200, but they are quality leather shoes and so comfortable! I didn’t have to break them in at all and since they are dirty, you can easily wipe them down if they get dirty.
I recently tried the Veja 10 sneakers to share my review with you guys, but they were SO uncomfortable. Many people recommend moving the tongue to the side since it’s so long, but I don’t think you should have to figure out a work-around to make your sneakers comfortable!
And of course no outfit is complete without my SOPIHYA jewelry! I probably shouldn’t have favorites (since I design all the pieces afterall lol) but my current go-to has been the new Elizabeth II necklace. The length is perfect to wear with crew neck sweaters and to layer with your other SOPHIYA pieces 🙂
