THE ORDINARY ”BUFFET”, AHA 30% + NHA 2% PEELING SOLUTION, NATURAL MOISTURIZING FACTORS + HA | SKINMEDICA HA5 REJUVENATING HYDRATOR
I’ve recently switched up my skincare routine after trying a few new products and I have to say, I think this is the best my skin has looked (and felt) in a very long time!
No makeup or filters
I’ve struggled a lot with adult acne over the last few years and I was constantly having really bad breakouts [especially on my forehead] which also resulted in scarring.
For the last 3+ years I’ve consistently used this Ole Henricksen Invigorating Night Transformation Gel and I saw this greatly improved my skin and acne/acne scarring. My sister who also has struggled with acne was the one who found the gel and also saw the same results. HIGHLY recommend. [I only recently stopped using it after I ran out of my last bottle and wanted to try some new products].

After trying The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution earlier this year – I couldn’t wait to try more products from The Ordinary. Not only are their products very affordable, but they are vegan, cruelty-free, and made without toxic ingredients.
I use the peeling solution once a week and then I will apply the SkinCeuticals C.E Ferulic Acid. This seems to be one of those ‘holy grail’ products, and raved by everyone, but it is also a bit pricey [which is why I use it once a week]. The combination of the peeling solution and the C.E Ferulic Acid treatment leaves my skin GLOWING and really helps calm down any skin/acne issues forming.
Every night and morning I apply The Ordinary ‘Buffet’ serum, followed my the SkinMedica HA5 Rejuvenating Hydrator and then The Ordinary Moisturizer.
These three products are ones I recently added to my routine and I have seen such a huge difference in my skin texture. I had so many small bumps and uneven skin before and now it has cleared up so much.
I also have combination skin and struggle with both oily and dry skin. Often times I had dry patches on my face which would make it difficult to put on makeup evenly.
The SkinMedica HA5 hydrator is also on the expensive side, but if it is within your budget, this is another product I highly recommend [also with The Ordinary products being so affordable it helps even out your spending overall!]. I personally have felt like this has not only made a huge difference in my skin texture but also with my fine lines forming [especially on my forehead].

And this is an optional product to add, but once a week I also add a couple of Isle of Paradise tanning drops to my moisturizer. It helps give me some color and a nice glow–which is especially nice when I go out without makeup–and no harmful sun rays needed! 🙂
For now that is routine I’ve been following consistently for the last few months and I have been extremely happy with the results!
Products look really nice! 🙂
