Sharing 5 smart casual workwear looks for the week!
5 SMART CASUAL OUTFITS
OUTFIT 1: BLACK BLAZER + WHITE BODYSUIT/TEE + WHITE CHEEKY JEAN + TWO-TONED SLINGBACKS
When styling “smart casual” outfits, I’ll start with pieces from my daily wardrobe, and then dress them up a bit to make them more office-appropriate. I added a pair of classic slingbacks to complete the look.
OUTFIT 2: BLACK RUFFLE TOP + BLACK CHEEKY JEAN + TWO-TONED SLINGBACKS
Paired a feminine blouse with black jeans and again dressed up the look a bit with a belt and slingbacks. The belt helps define the waist and breaks up the monochrome look. You could go for any color really but the two-toned slingback adds a nice bit of contrast to an all black look.
OUTFIT 3: WHITE BLOUSE + WHITE CHEEKY JEAN + BLACK LOAFER
A button up is another dressier/professional piece that can dress up any look. This Madewell one is a thicker cotton material which makes it look more casual, or I also recommend the Everlane shirt for a classic white button up. The belt and loafers help elevate this look and add a bit of contrast.
OUTFIT 4: BLACK RUFFLE TOP + WHITE CHEEKY JEAN + TWO-TONE SLINGBACKS
I may have grabbed for these pants too many times–but white pants are just a great neutral base to work with! I always find the less options you have to work with, the more you get creative mixing and matching! Pants: wearing my normal size 25 ankle but you could size down for a tighter fit as they do stretch out a bit [this item stretched out on me].
OUTFIT 5: NAVY BLAZER + WHITE TEE + BLUE JEANS + DARK BOURBON SANDALS
For this last look/casual Friday outfit, I went out of my ”comfort zone” and styled some open-toed shoes! The blazer and jeans are beautiful beautiful pieces but I do think they work best if you are 5’4/5+”. The blazer elevates the casual pieces and the oversized style gives it a relaxed but professional look.
