The Nordstrom Sale is just around the corner and I wanted to share some tips for shopping the sale/what I have found to be the best deals!
But first I just wanted to share some reminders for shopping mindfully.
1. Don’t buy something just because it’s on sale.
2. Assess your wardrobe and create a list of things you are in need of.
3. Focus on quality not quantity.
4. Avoid trendy items. Choose classic staples that will be worn year after year!

- Designer Items
- Many anniversary sale pieces will be discounted throughout the rest of the year, with the exception of designer items. I have found these deals to be exclusive to the nsale. For example, my favorite CELINE sunglasses retail for $480 and I have never seen them included in any sale [at any retailer] — but they are marked down to $299.99 during the anniversary sale period!
- Wardrobe Staples/Season Pieces
- This is a great time if you need to stock up on any staples or taking advantage of early Fall deals.
- Beauty
- My personal favorite items to snag during the sale are the beauty deals. These are another example of deals that are exclusive to the anniversary sale that you really can’t find anywhere else during the year! My favorite beauty brands to shop during the sale are ELEMIS, T3, Oribe, [and this year I’ll be making my first LA MER purchase]!
