Business/Smart Casual Workwear Pants for the Office
WORKWEAR PANT #1: Abercrombie Sloane Tailored Pants
You’ve probably seen me [and thousands of others] rave about these pants last year. They come in a variety of colors + inseams and they’re under $100! I love this brown and navy for the winter season – you can check out this blog post HERE for other outfit ideas styling these pants for business/smart casual looks.
WORKWEAR PANT #2: Abercrombie Ankle Straight Jeans
For reference, I wear size 25 in the regular length and find these jeans to run a little looser on the waist. They are available in multiple washes and lengths. I love pairing this collarless jacket with these jeans for an all-black smart casual look – I recommend wearing a bodysuit for a seamless look under the jacket.
Some shoes I recommend that pair well with these straight leg jeans are: slim-fitting boots + ankle boots, sneakers + kitten heels + loafers.
Feel free to check out this blog post HERE for other smart casual ways I style these straight leg jeans.
WORKWEAR PANT #3: J.Crew Denim Trousers
I love the look of these denim trousers! I’m wearing the chambray wash – they give off a casual, but elegant business casual/smart casual look for the office. You can check out this blog post HERE for other way I style these denim trousers.
Right Outfit: J.CREW SWEATER JACKET xs [linked to a more budget-friendly option HERE] | DENIM TROUSERS chambray wash reg [the petite length would have been better for my 5’4″ height] | BOOTS [linked to similar style HERE]
WORKWEAR PANT #4: Wit & Wisdom Crop Trousers
Designed to look like your classic and elegant work pant. Note: you cannot wear a belt with these trousers because they don’t have any belt loops in the back! These are another very affordable pant that is listed under $100.
WORKWEAR PANT #5: Madewell the PVJ in Hillson Wash
The PVJ in hillson wash were one of my favorite fall jeans! However, I did find them to run 1-2 sizes smaller than my usual size at Madewell, so I would size up accordingly.

WORKWEAR PANT #6: Madewell The 90’s Straight Jeans
These are great to pair with some boots for the colder seasons – I also own them in the black wash [barlow wash].
WORKWEAR PANT #7: M.M.LaFleur Milo Jeans
The Milo jeans are beautiful and so versatile—you can easily dress them up or down. But what I love most about them is how wrinkle-resistant they are. I’ve traveled a lot this year, and they’ve been one of my most-worn pairs of pants. You can easily change your top and accessories to go from a business meeting to a night out. I would say these jeans are more on the elevated side. You can check out this blog post HERE for more info.
